                               RESOLUTION NO. 19466
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF THE
                   ROSS'S LANDING PARK AND PLAZA, EXPANSION
                   WEST, CONTRACT NO. 3, TO INSITE CONSTRUCTION
                   COMPANY FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE AMOUNT OF
                   TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE
                   HUNDRED NINETY-NINE AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($225,399.00), UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of the Ross's Landing Park and Plaza, Expansion West,
       Contract No. 3, to Insite Construction Company for their low bid
       in the amount of Two Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand, Three Hundred
       Ninety-Nine and no/100 Dollars ($225,399.00), which amount
       includes a contingency of Twenty Thousand and No/100 Dollars
       ($20,000.00) and an allowance of Thirteen Thousand, Six Hundred
       Eighty-Seven and No/100 Dollars ($13,687.00), all of which is to
       be paid from grant funds heretofore received from the State of
       Tennessee and from proceeds of the hotel-motel tax collected
       within the County of Hamilton, except for the amount of
       Thirty-Eight Thousand, Two Hundred Thirty-One and No/100 Dollars
       ($38,231.00) for the upgrading of the Riverboat Trash Compactor,
       which is to be paid by the Riverboat Company to the City Finance

       Officer of the City of Chattanooga on or before Tuesday, June 2,
       1992.
